Samsung's patent shows AR glasses using the Turn-Key Maps app, which is likely to be duplicated on Apple's future glasses.

Earlier this month, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office published a patent application for Augmented Reality Glass from Samsung, which enables drivers with an app that works with the Map Directions app to stay on the road. When designated to change lanes, freeways exist and their destination can be easily found. This is interesting because it is one of many apps that Apple is working on for its future specs device.

While Samsung uses future AR glasses mirrors to read the road and provide real-time instructions, the system also works with vehicles that provide embedded AR controls that interact with glasses.

Samsung Patent FIG. Below is a block diagram of the system to implement 1 augmented reality; Fig. 2 is a conceptual diagram of the system for implementing augmented reality; Fig. 11 is a conceptual diagram of a system to implement an internal reality, where internal vehicle cameras can select the user's air signals to control the user interface or send commands to the system; Fig. 6 is a conceptual diagram of augmented reality implementation, where the AR direction arrow merges with the real-world images of the driver on the road in real time.

Samsung said in its filing that "a user can inspect a virtual image when placed in a specific location in the user's viewing field that can be viewed using an optical coupler. For example, a real image is a real image. One could be a picture of a gas station and one could be a picture of a virtual image. Oil prices.

External Camera # 400 is illustrated in both FIGS. 2 and 11 can capture real image data by capturing the image of the real object. The original object may have a sign outside the street, building or vehicle.

AR Glass has a built-in image generator that syncs with the glass display.

If this is a Samsung patent, Apple may adopt the Turn-Key Maps app for its future AR specs, as it is a natural AR application.

I was driving for a while and got distracted by something happening on the road and a significant direction signal was missing from Siri. The ability to see instruction arrows generated in Apple's future AR specs is great, so that users don't lose significant direction on 'maps'.

Samsung AR Glass Patent Reveals Unique Navigation Feature
Samsung showcased their Augmented Reality (AR) glasses during the CES 2020 keynote. It is used for a demo of GEMS (Gate Enhancing and Motivating System) at CES 2020, but details about this product are not provided. The patent filed by Samsung reveals some important information about the unique navigation feature of its AR specs.

The patents listed on the USPTO (US Patent and Trademark Office) website were first viewed by PatentApple. According to the listing, Samsung AR specs can show turn-by-turn navigation in its transparent display. It works like a head-up display (HUD), but comes with smart glasses that the company is working on.
